We started off our week of fun at a great Australia Day party in Lameroo with Nat's uncle Stuie and Stuie's friends. I witnessed rum being drunk straight through a bugle and I don't know if this is typical Australia Day antics but I like their style. The next morning we set off from Lameroo to reach our first destination: Grampians National Park.

Adelaide and Lameroo are off the map to the left. The little red dots show our route along the Great Ocean Road to Melbourne

Grampians National Park

Griffiths Island/Port Fairy/Warrnambool

The Grotto/ Loch Ard Gorge/ London Bridge/ Bay of Islands / Twelve Apostles

Gibson Beach/ Cape Otway Lighthouse

Maits Rainforest walk in Otway National Park/ Californian Redwood forest/ 100 year old timber logs still waiting to be transported

(Quick sword fight)

Apollo Bay/ friendly parrots near Mariner's Lookout

Thanks so much to Stuie for a fantastic week. We followed the route all the way to Melbourne where we spent a few days, although after five nights camping under the stars our 18-person dorm room just didn't quite cut it (not to mention the unforgiving soul below Nat on the bunk-bed who suffered from severe flatulence. Nat maintains it was the worst smell he's ever smelt in his life. #hostellife)

Enjoying Melbourne/ testing out the local merch

And I leave you with a video of Nat cooling off...
